STAR Performance Troupe

Do you have a dancer who just can’t get enough of dance, and wants an opportunity to connect with a team, work on skills, and perform more? Our Performance troupe might be just the ticket! The Troupes meet weekly, to rehearse choreography and work on skills, tricks, and technique with their team. The newest young students will meet for 45 mintutes, all other Troupe students will meet for 75 minutes. Troupe members build confidence, teamwork, stage presence, and dance skills while learning fun, age-appropriate routines to perform at community events and/or showcases throughout the year. This non-competitive performing troupe offers a supportive and encouraging environment where every dancer can sparkle, make new friends, and develop a lifelong love of dance.Troupe students perform at various community events throughout the year as well in every show during our June recital weekend. This is a fantanstic way to to encourage positive experiences onstage. Shoe requirements: tan jazz shoes & black sneakers.

Enrollment and placement is by age and class requirements for Twinkle Team, Spark Squad, and Sparkle Squad. Shooting Stars and The Eclipse teams are by instructor approval only. Class fees are based on class length (below) per month, plus a one time $550 +tax materials fee. *For 26/27, all troupe will need to purchase new troupe gear.

Our Troupes Teams consist of:

Twinkle team (Ballard)

Dancers must have 1 year prior dance experience and be enrolled in one additional technique class (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, or Hip Hop). Ages 6 and up. One or more additional technique class (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, or Hip Hop) is required for stamina and additional training. Note this class only meets for 45 minutes and the Tuition is $110 a month.

Shoreline Spark Squad (shoreline)

Dancers must have 2 years prior dance experience and be enrolled in two additional technique classes (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, or Hip Hop). Ages 9 and Up. These two or more additional classes are recommended for stamina and additional training.

Sparkle Squad (Ballard)

Dancers must have 2 years prior dance experience and be enrolled in two additional technique classes (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, or Hip Hop). Ages 9 and Up. These two or more additional classes are recommended for stamina and additional training.

Shooting Stars (Ballard)

Dancers must have 3 years prior dance experience and be enrolled in three additional technique classes (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, or Hip Hop). Enrollment by instructor approval only.

The eclipse (ballard)

Dancers must have 4 years prior dance experience and be enrolled in three additional technique classes (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, or Pre-Pointe). Enrollment by instructor approval only.

TROUPE TECHNIQUE FOR ALL Troupe (BALLARD)

This free class open to all Troupe students and will help improve, grow, build stamina, improve flexibility, and master performance skills needed to benefit students experience and confidence. There will be an emphasis on technique, skills, tricks, and flexibility. Students should bring jazz shoes, clean hip hop sneakers, and be prepared to dance barefoot as well.

Second weekly class- 5% off!

Third weekly class- 10% off!

Fourth and additional weekly classes - 15% off!

Please Contact us if you would like to register for a Performance Troupe! *Parents and caregivers may need to purchase tickets to view performances at community events. Students may need to provide their own costumes for certain specific events such as Thriller. The Troupe fee covers two dance costumes for the year end performances and for use throughout the year, as well as required Troupe Gear.

SAVE THE DATES

Troupe students next pefomance will be on October 24th for Thrill the World! Save the date. We plan to have at least 2 additional outside performances throughout the academic year and details will be share as they are arranged.

Troupe will have 3 additional practice dates at the Shoreline Studio for all three Troupe classes to practice their Troupe all performance number that will be showcased in EVERY show during the recital weekend. Please save these dates:

Sunday, May 2nd from 1:30-3:30pm
Sunday, May 16th from 1:30-3:30pm
Sunday, May 23rd from 1:30-4:30pm

Troupe students will perform in every show during our Dance Recital w\eekend June 2027.

*Members of our STAR Performance Troupe may not be enrolled for regular classes at another studio.
